Fatnice & Mushmouf – Supavision (Lost Tapes)

 Hip-Hop/Rap
 LP

Savor some recently unearthed goodness from the Ill Vibe massive as they draw back the curtain on a store of soulful hip-hop sounds from Philly emcees Fatnice and Mushmouf and set it down on the just dropped Supavision (Lost Tapes) album (HERE). Live sounds throughout this one, with highwater moments like the magnetically infectious opening cut “Pause” and the nebulous funk fix that follows it, titled “All For The Love” (featuring a moving verse from Aul Purpis); a nimble headnodder called “This Ain’t The Way”; an oscillating jolt of clavinet steered funk called “Never Stop” (featuring Speaque-Eazie); and a primo round of “pass-the-mic” cipher emceeing called “You Can’t Do It (Like We Do It)” to close the whole set out (featuring Aul PurpisSammy Cook, and OSP).
