This beatsmith, DJ, digger and overall renaissance man stopped by for an in-studio interview this week and also dropped a live mix for Episode 039 as well! We get into Boogie Bus’ early days of coming up in Pittsburgh, having a very musical household and the origin of his nom de plume. As we dig in a bit more, we hear about Bus’ local hip-hop influences from a DJ and production standpoint, and how he did some early tracks with Mac Miller.

Southern Vangard Radio Episode 39! Well this weeks mix show was certainly a treat – we had fellow ATLien (by way of Pittsburgh) Buscrates, stop through for an interview as well as our VERY FIRST in-studio DJ guest! After setting the football field on fire at the Steelers/Ram game on Sunday, Boogie Bus hopped on his private jet and flew back to Atlanta in time for a nice chat and to lay down a burner of a 30-minute mix at the end of the show, while DJ Jon Doe kicked things off in regular fashion with the latest hip-hop joints.

Sorry for the lack of updates lately. We…and by “we”,  I mean “I”… have been dealing with some technical difficulties lately. And as a result, the updates may get a little thin for a few weeks. But enough about that…if you don’t know, the Southern Vangard Radio team recently started the “Interview Sessions” part of their radio show.
